It must be for low IQ adults because the wife and I watched it last night and like it. ![]()

Hahaha! Laura and I also watched it a few days ago, and I found it decent enough to be watchable. Entertaining but not too bad to stop watching.
I’m currently reading the book… got it for Fathers Day. I’m just reading about 5-10 pages a night when I am shutting down, so I’m about a third of the way through it. I’ve been reading Science Fiction for over 60 years. It reminds me of the original Heinlein Juvenile Novels before Stranger In A Strange Land. I find it to be refreshing for a change. Sort of like the original Asimov Robot Books or Foundation Series Novels. Don’t get me wrong, I like Hard Science Fiction. But I measure that by actual Science and the Extrapolation into the Future, not the Shock Value. An interesting contrast would be Reading the original Foundation Trilogy, vs. the Video Series. Both excellent, but the Video Series has a Edge, and you don’t really get the full story line or the depth of the characters unless you have read the books. Another contrast in just Video would be Battlestar Galactica vs. The Expanse… both fun to watch, but The Expanse is more deep Extrapolation into how Asteroid Mining and Interplanetary Expansion will change culture, (something that may be happening in the not too distant future…). There is always some suspension of Disbelief to get involved in a storyline, but please… leave the fundamental Physics intact! I’ll watch the Movie after I finish the book!
