Linux is finally gaining traction. I haven’t tried yet, but wiil dedicate a machine to this aside from my PS5. Also SteamOS but from what I understand only supports AMD – I’ve been selecting AMD over Intel for a long time now with recently starting the move to ARM (Not 
).
Next stop after ARM, RISC-V.
Steam os is really good, running it on the steam deck(which is also great), they did a great job with it, feels like a real console, but you can get regular os desktop mode quite easily(Arch with KDE is what’s underneath it).
Heard some good things about bazzite also, seen some great reviews on it.
Also saw some videos comparing gaming on latest windows to on Linux, and the performance is better on Linux due to all the bloat they keep adding on windows.
Been putting money aside to build a gaming PC for a few months now, looking forward to playing games in non-AI boosted hi quality.
